Jane Designs is a small creative business, run from a self-made studio at home in Cambourne, Cambridge. We produce a range of illustrations, environmentally-friendly prints and stationery, all designed to inspire a love of nature and more sustainable life habits. Behind Jane Designs is Hannah Jane Priest. Hannah prides herself on her innovative approach to design and learning. She has a keen eye for detail and a wonderfully neurodiverse approach.    

Alongside an array of eclectic interests (studying Fine Art, Psychology, Textiles and Health & Fitness at college before completing a degree in Animal Behaviour and Human Psychology) Hannah married her teenage sweetheart and has 2 children. After securing a role with the Wellcome Trust, she found herself looking for an artistic outlet that would fit into a busy family life. As most creative mothers would during rare spare moments, Hannah produced personalised artwork, murals and furniture for her young children, family and friends.

In 2021 Hannah’s area of work within the Wellcome Trust came to an end. Embracing this opportunity, Hannah began to produce illustrations, working on the floor of their spare room – this was the beginning of what was soon to become…
